N127 is a cg of sharp-looking people! :)

But we can always go up another level to shine for God even more. We may not have Jessica Alba's hot bod or Liu Geng Hong's 6 packs but the key to great dressing is...

Know your body shape and frame it well

I'll share some quick tips that Jace shared with us in choir...

1. Accessorize!

Above is an example of good accessorizing. The colours do not clash but complement each other in different shades of brown and gold. Belt, bangles, necklaces, earrings, bag and even a watch can make a difference (especially to plain tops). Guys can also accessorize! A choker or tie that is appropriately worn makes you stand out. So the next time you wear a plain top, check if it's screaming for some accessories to go along with.

2. Know what colours you look good in

It's fun to experiment with colours. Some people look good in yellow and brown. But some don't. Someone who's tanned should avoid dark colours like black and brown. White, yellow and orange look good on people who are tanned. Fairer people generally look good in most colours. But if you wanna look pale and ghostly, wear white.

3. Layering

Above is an example of layering. Double layering works well on tops and shirts. A spaghetti top over a short-sleeved blouse or a vest over a shirt... In fact, many retail outlets like Esprit layer their clothes that are on display. So if you are about to throw away an old shirt, try layering it with another piece. Can save money and look good too! (especially since building fund is coming muahaha...)

I'll share 3 points for now. More to come in the next fashion update
...

Maybe we should have the best-dressed member every month or something. Like choir like that... Lol. No prize lah. But at least you are recognized for putting in extra effort to look good for God.

Cheerios!

Your friendly fashion editor,
Yan :)
